INGREDIENTS:                                

  • Vermicelli (fine pasta] – 1/2 cups
  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Sugar – 5 Tbsp
  • Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
  • Raisins, Cashew nuts – 1/4 cup
  • Pure Ghee – 1 tsp

PREPARATION:

  1. Melt ghee in a pan and fry vermicelli till light brown color and keep aside.
  2. In the same pan fry raisins and cashew nuts.
  3. Bring milk to boil in a pan. Add vermicelli (pasta) reduce the heat and keep stirring in between.
  4. Cook for 4-5 minutes or until the vermicelli turns soft.
  5. Add sugar, raisins, cashew nuts and cardamom powder.
  6. When it cools the pudding gets thick, add more milk for your  desired consistency. You can also add condensed milk for  a thick delicious dessert  sweet pasta.

FALOODA

This easy recipe  for falooda is one of the famous Asian dessert. This falooda is Colorful and tasty. Falooda easy recipe is easy digestible.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Pre-boiled spaghetti -1/2 cup
  • Mango icecream -3 Scoops
  • Preset mango jelly -2 tblsp
  • Fresh Milk-1/2 cup
  • Any Chopped fruits -1 tblsp
  • (Apple, Pineapple, Banana)
  • Thick juice mango or sugar
  • Soaked sago or
  • Sabudana seeds -1/2 tsp ( optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Take a tall wide mouthed glass,add all the mixture in a layer form.
  2. First boiled spaghetti thin sized followed by cold milk mixed with sugar ,fruits, jelly ,thick mango syrup and finally scooped ice-cream and sabudana or sabji/basil  seeds soaked in water.
  3. Freeze it until serving. Serve chilled.Serve with a straw and spoon.

Kunafa (called as kunafe, Kanafeh, knafeh, kunafeh, kunafah) basbousa and UmAli Dessert are the best arabic sweet dishes traditionally eaten during Ramadan in Arab and middle-eastern countries. Now Easy recipes specially gives you  the easy methods of preparing arabic sweet dessert  Kunafa ( Arabic Sweet Cheese Pastry) and later we will   post UmAli arabic Dessert.

kunafa                Kunafa  is served during Ramadan If tar, the time between sunset and breaking fast by Muslims. Kunafeh  is one of the well known Arabic sweet dessert dishes, with a cream cheese filling in the center.

There are many types of fillings in the basic recipe like banana, cream, cheese and nut, just to name a few.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Kataifi (can be found in most middle eastern, grocery stores)-1 full package or fine vermicelli
  • Butter -200 gm melted

FOR SYRUP:

  • Sugar -1 1/2 cup
  • Water-1 cuparabic-sweet-kunafa
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • Orange blossom or rosewater-1 tsp
  • Blanched  whole almonds & pista-1/4 cup
  • Walnuts,coarsely chopped -5 tbs
  • Granulated sugar-2 1/2 tbsp
  • Cinnamon powder-1/4 tsp
  • Soft ricotta cheese -800 gm
  • Butter, for greasing

PREPARATION:

  1. Prepare sugar syrup with 1 cup of water and 1 1/2 cup of sugar along with lemon juice. Bring to boil, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until it forms a syrupy consistency.
  2. Remove from heat allow to cool. Add rosewater, and keep aside.
  3. Pre -heat the oven to 180 degree centigrade.
  4. In a large bowl gently loosen the kataifi dough and mix well with the butter.
  5. Grease the baking pan with butter and place half the dough at the bottom press evenly.
  6. Spread bits of ricotta cheese all over, then cover with the remaining kataifi dough, press gently .
  7. Sprinkle fine pieces of walnuts, almond, pista all over. Sprinkle cinnamon powder and  granulated sugar. Place another thin layer of remaining kataifi and press well.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, till the surface is golden brown.arabic-desert-kunafa
  9. Remove from oven and pour sugar syrup all over hot kunafa. Allow to cool completely.
  10. Invert on to serving plate. Decorate with remaining nuts. Serve Kunafa warm.
  11. It is good to warm up before serving, because the cheese tastes better. Kunafa is a well known Arabic dessert all over the world and its really yummy…

INGREDIENTS:                                             chocolate cake 1

  • Maida (All-purpose flour)-250 gm
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk-400 gm tin
  • Cocoa Powder- 2-3 tbsp
  • Baking Powder-1 tsp
  • Cooking Soda-1 tsp
  • Butter-150 gm
  • Aerated Cola Drink-200 ml
  • A pinch of Salt
  • Dairy Milk Chocolate-1 bar
  • Fresh Whipped Cream-250 gm
  • Cherries-10

PREPARATION:

  1. Melt butter in a thick bottomed pan on very low flame.
  2. Remove from the flame and let the butter cool.Add condensed milk and mix well.
  3. Sift maida,cocoa powder,baking powder,cooking soda and salt together.Make sure there are no lumps in the mixture.
  4. Take a pan with little butter and put the maida mixture with the condensed milk-butter mixture.Add aerated cola and mix it well.
  5. Grease a baking tray with little butter.Dust it with maida and keep it aside.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased baking tray and bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 175 degrees C (350 degree f).
  7. When done,let it cool and then slit it horizontally into two or three do carefully and make it even.
  8. Whip the cream till light and fluffy.Make a layer in the middle of the cake layers like sandwich,with whipped cream and cherries.
  9. Top with whipped cream and cherries.
  10. Grate dairy milk chocolate bar and sprinkle over the cake.refrigerate to set whipped cream.
  11. Drip out some sugar syrup on the cherries to get it stick well with the cake.Decorate more with whipped Chocolate cream mixture in cones.Its all about your imagination. I have decorated with dark chocolate dipped strawberries on top.
  12. Dip the strawberry in melted dark chocolate (by double boiling method), set aside for a few seconds and then place over the chocolate cake, arrange it as your wish. Make a dropping effect with the remaining chocolate all over the sides. And enjoy the yummy Chocolate Cake .
  13. Serve it chilled.

  • Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate – 150 gm
  • Eggs – 2
  • Sugar – 1/3 cup
  • Butter – 150 gm
  • All-purpose Flour – 1/4 cup
  • Butter – for greasing

PREPARATION:

  1. By double boiling method, melt the chocolate(i.e boil water in a pan place the chocolate in an empty vessel and place it on the boiling water,make sure it doesn’t sink into).
  2. When the chocolate is melted, remove pan from heat and add  butter. Mix until the butter melts fully.
  3. Beat Eggs and Sugar in a bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Add chocolate,butter mixture into the eggs, along with all-purpose flour and mix until they form a smooth paste.
  5. Grease small glass or porcelain bowls with butter,and pour the mixture about 3/4 way full.
  6. Place the small chocolate filled cups in a baking tray and bake at 350 degrees for 10 – 15 minutes. less time for a creamy molten chocolate in the middle, and longer duration for stiff texture inside.
  7. Serve with vanilla ice-cream topping,and celebrate this valentine day dessert….

TRADITIONAL RAS MALAI RECIPE

Ras Malai,soft cheese balls in a creamy milk sauce, is a delectable Indian dessert.Ras Malai is a delicious and perfect end to any Indian meal.It is an easy,simple delicious dessert that completes your feast.

INGREDIENTS:

  • Khova (chenna)-300 gm            traditional rasmalai
  • All purpose flour-2 tbsp
  • Milk-2 lts
  • Orange powder-2 tbls
  • Cardamom powder-1/2 tsp
  • Cashew,almond,pista chopped-4 tbls
  • Sugar-3 cups
  • Water-2 cups
  • Saffron-a pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. To prepare khova boil 2 liter milk,while it starts boiling add lemon juice  followed by half glass of cold water.
  2. The milk curdles,strain its extract,with a muslin cotton cloth,and hung this on a tap for an hour,or until all water content goes off.This is the chenna.
  3. Dissolve 2 cups of sugar in water and boil till it forms a syrup.
  4. Crumble the khoya and knead well.Add flour and mash well until soft.
  5. Take a spoon of the dough,and simply make a ball,press slightly to flatten it.
  6. Slowly put it into the boiling syrup,and cook for 10 minutes.sprinkle cold water every minute,to maintain the right boiling temperature,so that the ball gets evenly cooked.
  7. In a separate pan boil milk for 15 minutes,let it gets thicken.Add remaining sugar,cardamon powder,remove from heat .
  8. When warm mix the orange powder,if you don’t want you can avoid it.Add the rasmalai to the thickened milk,and garnish with blanched cashew,saffron and almonds.Refrigerate till serving.
